Hello, I was thinking of buying lightning lane passes for my family. When I click to buy a 2 day park access with lightning passes it looks like it’s for 1 day? Does the lightning pass work for both days if I purchase a 2day 1park pass?

Hello there, Damary. Welcome to planDisney. Thanks for visiting us with your question!

When you purchase a Lighting Lane Multi Pass (LLMP) it is good for use at each available LLMP attraction for one day. If you'd like to use it on both days of your vacation, you must purchase it each day once you scan into the park. If you would like to ride an LLMP-eligible ride twice on the same day, you will need to use the standby line after the Lighting Lane has been redeemed. I hope this answers your question!

Whether you decide to purchase Lighting Lane Multi Pass on one or both days, I highly recommend getting to the Disneyland theme parks as early as possible. My family likes to "rope drop" or arrive at the parks right as they open, to maximize our time and get on as many rides as we can before the parks get busy. I often find that this strategy allows us to get on quite a few rides in a short time, and then we can prioritize waiting for more popular rides later in the day.

In Disney California Adventure Park, we love to head straight to Pixar Pier to do Toy Story Midway Mania! and the Incredicoaster first. Then we head back towards the front of the park and visit Cars Land and Avengers Campus. In Disneyland Park, we like to head to Space Mountain or Big Thunder Mountain before the lines get long. If you are a Star Wars fan, the morning is the perfect time to ride Rise of the Resistance or Smugglers Run, and then join the Walk Up List for Oga's Cantina in the Disneyland Mobile App.

Damary, however you approach your Disneyland visit, I wish you magic to infinity and beyond. Please let me know if you have any other questions!

    See ya real soon,
    Melissa
