    I was thinking of buying Disney Gift Cards from Target for Easter presents for our trip in September.Can you load Disney Gift cards to your Magic Bands?

    Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I think Disney Gift Cards make a fantastic gift when you are counting down to a Walt Disney World Resort vacation. The gift recipient can save their gift cards for some awesome souvenirs during their trip and it's a great way to help kids and teens to maintain their individual souvenEAR budget. Guests who are staying in a Disney Resort hotel can use their MagicBands to make charges to their room reservation and then their room account can be paid using Disney Gift Cards. But unfortunately, Guests cannot directly load Disney Gift Cards onto their Magic Bands.

    Don't let this deter you from giving Disney Gift Cards as Easter gifts. With all of the different card designs to choose from, you can pick the perfect card for each person. I have used Disney Gift Cards for many trips to Walt Disney World Resort and it works out great. I just keep my Disney Gift Cards and identification in a safe place with the rest of my belongings during a busy theme park day.
