We are thinking about buying annual passes. Do they expire one year from when we first purchase them to from when we first use them. I'm buying them about six weeks from when I first plan on using them.

    Hi Todd,

Your Annual Passes will not be activated until you first use them in a park. For example, I recently renewed my Annual Pass to take advantage of a special offer for Disney Vacation Club members. However, I won't be activating it until I head to Disney in May. My pass will expire next May, one year from the date that I first use it. You can buy your pass anytime, you'll just need to activate it before December 31, 2014.

I hope this helps and that you have year filled with countless magical memories,
