Ahoy Michael and welcome to planDisney!
Thank you for visiting us with your question before you set sail with the Disney Cruise Line. In just a few short weeks you will be embarking on your cruise. Soon it will be time to
pack your suitcases and head out for adventure!
Go ahead and pack your battery-operated bottle opener with you, because that is not on the
prohibited items list. As you are considering bringing wine with you, please be sure to read the
alcohol policy of the Disney Cruise Line. Guests ages 21 and older may bring onboard with them (both on the day of embarkation and when boarding from ports of call)
up to two unopened bottles of wine or champagne (no larger than 750 ml) or 6 cans of beer (no more than 12 ounces) in their carry-on luggage only.
If you would like to enjoy the wine or champagne that you bring onboard while dining in one of the dining rooms, your server will be happy to open and serve it alongside your meal. In this case, a corking fee would apply.
Michael, you may be interested in the various
beverage tastings offered onboard. You can book via the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app under "Onboard Fun". If all of the beverage tastings are booked at this time, you can check with Guest Services onboard the ship to see if anything you are interested in opens up.
I hope that helps answer your question, and that you feel ready to embark on a relaxing cruise vacation. Please visit us again at planDisney if you have any more questions as your sailing date draws near.
Bon Voyage!
Adrianna
