We are thinking of bringing our daughter down for her 16th birthday and will be at the Magic Kingdom for her special day. I'm wondering if it's possible to get the Dapper Dan's to sing a special song for her. How would I go about this?

    Hi Robyn,

How nice to know your will be visiting Walt Disney World Resort to celebrate your daughter's birthday. I am sure she will have a magical time.

I love The Dapper Dans. On our last trip one of my boys decided to have a haircut at Harmony Barber Shop, and they were signing outside as we exited. They are so awesome. They do perform throughout the day and on occasions they do sign Happy Birthday to Guests celebrating. Check the Times Guides or stop by Guest Relations to check at what time they will perform.

I suggest your daughter gets a celebratory birthday button as soon as she enters the park. Cast Members and characters will recognize it and will celebrate with her. Sometimes a little bit of magic happens. I remember a years ago, we were visiting the Mexico pavilion in Epcot. Mariachi Cobre was performing and noticed her birthday button and sang her "Las Mañanitas." It was an amazing experience.

One last tip: visit Disney Floral & Gifts for ideas to help celebrate her day with a unique cake or floral arrangement. She will remember it forever. See you real soon!
