We were thinking of booking a trip and staying at Bay Lake Tower resort. Which type of room is the best to have in order to have a good view of the fireworks at Magic Kingdom at night? Are there any other resorts that would have the same view?

    Hi Crystal,

Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. My family loves a stay at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort. We enjoy the sleek and modern feel at this resort, and the quick walk to Magic Kingdom is wonderful!

Yes, you can see the nighttime fireworks from some rooms and villas at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort. You would need to book a theme park view room to get a view of the fireworks, and I also recommend that you request accommodations on a higher floor as I like the view of the fireworks from further up.

There are some other resorts that could also afford a view of the nighttime fireworks at Magic Kingdom. These include Disney's Contemporary Resort, Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. At any of these, you would want a theme park view in order to see the fireworks at Magic Kingdom from your room. You also might consider the bungalows at Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows, which look right out across the water toward Magic Kingdom.

Of these options, I really do like Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort for seeing fireworks at Magic Kingdom. Something about being so close and so high up is magical.

I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Crystal! Please do let us know if you have any further questions.
