Hi there! We are thinking of booking a trip for middle of February 2017, yay! Is that a slow time and do you have any advice for big families to help with expenses? We are a family of 8, 2 parents and 6 kiddos. The oldest is 11, 9, 7, 4, 3 and 8months. TIA

    Hi Yvonne!

I'm so excited for your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation! My husband and I have eight children and ten grandchildren so we are used to traveling with a large group and are always watching costs. We have found that eating one meal in our room every day or packing a lunch to take to the Parks is a good way to minimize the amount of money we spend on food. Staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel Villa makes that easy to do. Planning ahead and watching for special offers is another one of my favorite ways to save money along the way. If we make a plan ahead of time for exactly how much we will spend on what, it makes it much easier to stick to a budget.

By the way, February is one of my family's very favorite times to visit Walt Disney World. It is far enough after Christmas and before Spring Breaks begin that we have had great luck with weather and crowds at that time of year.

Please let us know if there is anything else we can do to help you with your planning.

    Have a magical day!
