I am thinking about booking a trip to Disneyland for mid to late February of 2023, how early can I start booking tickets, hotels and experiences?

Hey there, Aaron! Thanks so much for taking the time to bring your question to planDisney. We love getting to help Guests plan their upcoming visits to Disneyland Resort and I'd be happy to assist you!

I wish I could give you an exact date to help you know when you can start officially planning your visit for early next year. I will say that historically I've noticed that booking dates for the next year usually start opening up sometime during the summer months. So keep checking back during the summer and hopefully, you will have success!

If you book a Disneyland Resort Hotel Package, you will be able to add tickets to that package at the time of purchase. However, you will have to wait until 120 days out from your dates to book theme park ticket reservations. If you book hotel and tickets separately, you will have to wait to purchase tickets 120 days out, and then you will make your theme park ticket reservations as part of the checkout process on the Disneyland website.

For advanced dining reservations, you will be able to book those approximately 60 days in advance.

As far as experiences, I want to make sure you have heard about Disney Genie+. At Disneyland Resort, not only do you get to make Lightning Lane selections but you also get unlimited digital PhotoPass downloads on the day of your Disney Genie+ purchase. I love this added bonus to Disney Genie+ that allows us to make sure we have plenty of photos for our memory books!

Aaron, thanks again for sending us your question. Be sure to come back and visit us again with any other questions you encounter on your planning journey!
