Hiya Kris! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with this great question!
Oh boy! I hope you decide to stay at
Disney's Boardwalk Inn during your upcoming visit! This has been my top resort at Walt Disney World for quite some time. I grew up visiting the shore towns that this resort is modeled after, and it completely encapsulates every bit of nostalgia that I have from growing up. The details and touches around the resort are perfect in every way.
When staying at any
Disney Resorts hotel, you'll have full access to your resort beginning the morning of your check-in day and until midnight of your departure day. This includes all amenities and recreation options at the resort. You're more than welcome to continue
using the pool all day until it is time for you to leave. While you won't have your resort room available after 11 AM, you can use the facilities in the main lobby to change into different clothing for your flight. Some resorts will even feature a shower in one of the restrooms on site to use if needed. Also, you can leave your luggage with
Bell Services once you check out of your room until you are ready to depart for the day!
My family often makes our last day a full resort day. It gives us a chance to fully explore everything the resort has to offer, including spending time in the arcade or for poolside activities. Many times we are always on the go during our trip, going back and forth to the theme parks. We tend to miss out on all the wonderful options available where we are staying. We recently visited Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort and did not have to leave until late afternoon. We spent the day enjoying the Fuentes del Morro Pool and enjoyed lunch at Banana Cabana. Staying at the Boardwalk Inn, you have countless options right outside of your room, including all the fun activities on
Disney's Boardwalk.
Kris, I hope this information helps you plan for your upcoming stay! The more time you can spend during your visit is always the best option!
Happy planning!
Greg
