    Thinking of boarding my small dachshund while on a short Disney trip in Sept. Can anyone give me some updated info or personal experience with the kennels? The info on allears seems pretty dated (from 07)

    Hi Kim!

         Can't leave your "baby" behind?  I completely understand!  While I haven't used the kennels at Disney World in years, I can certainly give you some updated information.  They were recently purchased by Best Friends Pet Care, a national chain of quality kennels.  My sister is a veterinarian and she gives her "stamp of approval" to this home away from home for pampered pooches!  The above link gives some great info on prices, extras and even reviews from satisfied customers.  FYI, I heard that the Best Friends Pet Care company will be opening a fabulous pet resort in Disney World sometime later this year - a big paws up!!!
