Ahoy there, Neil! Thanks for sailing by planDisney with your question.
I sailed to Alaska a few years ago and had a great experience with my family. Seeing a glacier in person was a beautiful sight that I will never forget.
I checked with Shore Services, and they shared that you cannot reserve air travel through Disney Cruise Line from the UK to the US or Canada. You will need to book
independently. It is recommended that your latest arrival time at Vancouver International Airport on embarkation day is 11:45 AM, and the earliest departure time from the airport on debarkation day is 12:30 PM.
If you would like to arrive before embarkation day, you can purchase Disney Cruise Line ground transfers from the Fairmont Vancouver Airport to the Canada Place Cruise Terminal. If you reserve accommodations at the Fairmont Waterfront Vancouver, you can purchase luggage transfers only and walk because the hotel is across the street from the cruise terminal. If you stay at the Pan Pacific Hotel Vancouver, located above the terminal, simply walk over when it is your Port Arrival Time.
Next year, the
Disney Wonder and
Magic will have Alaskan itineraries. I am excited for you, Neil! They are both great ships. If you have any questions about
Port Adventures or anything else, come back to visit us at
planDisney.
Adventure is out there!
