Jambo, Maggie! Welcome back to planDisney! I'm so glad that you've stopped by with such a great planning question.
More time in the magic is always the right answer! And at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge during the holidays?! Pure pixie dust! Animal Kingdom Lodge is one of my very favorite Disney Resorts Collection hotels. From the moment you arrive, you are transported to a beautiful African village on the savanna, and with some of the best
dining in all of Walt Disney World Resort, a seemingly endless list of animal-centric activities and breathtaking holiday decorations, it's the perfect magical home away from home during the holidays. Now, let's get to your question and get your family to the magic!
I just spoke with a Cast Member who informed me that unfortunately, rollaway beds are no longer available at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. But Hakuna Matata! It means "no worries!" Complimentary
cribs or Pack 'n Plays are available upon request on a first-come, first-served basis. Just
call a helpful Cast Member with Disney Resort Hotel Reservations to add the request to your reservation or make the request at the front desk once you arrive.
If your little one does not sleep well in a crib, I suggest booking one of the One-Bedroom Suites or One-Bedroom Villas, as they sleep up to five or six adults. As a parent myself, I know that making sure your little one is well-rested ensures that the vacation stays magical for the whole family. Sweet Disney dreams!
I hope this was helpful, Maggie, and I hope that you and your family have the most magical holiday vacation, full of rested nights and oh-so-fun Disney days. Please stop by any time with any planning questions you may have along the way!
Have a wild adventure,
Mandy
