Hi Elaine,
It makes my heart so happy to hear that you'll be able to experience "The Most Magical Place on Earth" with your granddaughter. You Mouseketeers are going to have a wonderful time together and make memories that you'll both cherish forever!
If you have the time in your trip to spend two days at Magic Kingdom Park, I actually think that's a great idea. There are SO many
attractions,
character experiences, and
entertainment opportunities that having two days to visit will allow you to spread things about a bit and take a rest in the middle of the day if you'd like. The other benefit to having two days there is that you'll be able to plan three
FastPass+ selections per day ahead of time, so you'll be able to choose six of your most-anticipated attractions or experiences to skip the standby lines. Don't forget, too, that after you've enjoyed your initial three FastPass+ selections, you'll be able to use the My Disney Experience mobile app or an in-park kiosk to make additional selections, one at a time, pending availability.
A spectacular fireworks show is always the
perfect way to end a magical Disney day, and there are lots of wonderful ones to see at the different theme parks. My favorite one, however, does happen to be
Happily Ever After at Magic Kingdom Park. With the combination of beloved stories shown through "How'd-they-do-that?" projections, incredible fireworks, and moving music, it's the perfect recipe for magic and always gives me chills! I really think that you and your granddaughter will LOVE it!
Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel again, Elaine, and please feel free to keep bringing us more great questions! I hope that you have a truly magical vacation!
Missy
