Do you think that a 3 year old would enjoy the hoopdeedo review?

    Hi Colleen,

I love the Hoop-De-Doo Musical Revue (HDDR)!  Its a great show and the food is finger-licking-good!

I have heard both sides - some young kids love it and some not so much.  I think it really depends on the individual child. One of my visits to HDDR was with a group of 6 whose ages ranged from 3 - 70 and everyone loved it. The singing and dancing should hold most anyone's attention but I think that the jokes are lost on younger kids. The meal is served during short "breaks" in the show - its perfectly timed and if your 3 year old likes to eat, that alone may hold his/her attention.  The show lasts approximately 1 hour 45 minutes to 2 hours.  I would bring a favorite toy just in case they start to loose interest or get a little antsy.

If you feel that your 3 year old needs to burn off a little energy before the show starts (or afterwards), there is a playground very close to Pioneer Hall.  My boys love going there after HDDR or Mickey's Backyard BBQ. There is also a horseshoe game, rocking chairs and the Settlement Trading Post where you can shop for souvenEARs. Its relaxed atmosphere is fun for all ages.

Wishing you many magical memories :-) Allison
