Hi Michelle! Our children participate in the Year Round School Calendar and we really enjoy it. We are able to take great vacations at very affordable prices, because they are on break when most children are still in school. However, most school aged children are on the Traditional School Calendar. I have helped a few friends with children on the Traditional School Calendar plan trips and I would suggest traveling over a school break that may be unique to your School System. For example, an October/Fall Break would be a great time to visit. You could plan to attend Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. There may also be some added Value Season promotions to provide extra cost savings on your vacation. The break at your school is unlikely to be a break on the same days for every school in the U.S., so the Parks should be less crowded. Also, the weather in the Fall is wonderful and makes vacationing in Florida very nice.
