    I think I read somewhere that the blackout dates for Florida residents was lifted for Spring Break this year. Is this true? I am planning to take my kids and their spring break starts March 21. Before I buy tickets I want to get the best deal I can.

     It's so wonderful to help a fellow Floridian! As an Annual Passholder too, I can tell you that there are blackout dates for the Gold, Silver and Weekday Select Annual Passes. Here are the dates for 2016:

    The following blockout dates apply to the Disney Gold Pass: December 17, 2015 - January 1, 2016, March 19, 2016 - April 1, 2016, December 19, 2016 - January 2, 2017.

    The following blockout dates apply to the Disney Silver Pass: December 17, 2015 - January 1, 2016, March 19, 2016 - April 1, 2016, June 6 – Aug 11, 2016 and December 19, 2016 - January 2, 2017.

    The following blockout dates apply to the Disney Weekday Select Pass: October 4, 10, 11, 17, 18, 24, 25, 31; November 1, 7, 8, 14, 15, 21, 22, 28, 29; December 5, 6, 12, 13; December 17 ‒ December 31, 2015; January 1, 2, 3, 9, 10, 16, 17, 23, 24, 30, 31; February 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, 21, 27, 28; March 5, 6, 12, 13; March 19 ‒ March 31; April 1, 2, 3, 9, 10, 16, 17, 23, 24, 30; May 1, 7, 8, 14, 15, 21, 22, 28, 29; June 4, 5; June 6 – August 11, August 13, 14, 20, 21, 27, 28; September 3, 4, 10, 11, 17, 18, 24, 25; October 1, 2; December 19 - 31, 2016; January 1 - 2, 2017.
