Hi moms! What do you think about the preferred fireworks viewing at Illumination at Epcot and WIshes at MK? Is it worth calling to book a reservation? What is the difference than seeking a spot on our own? Thanks!!

    Greetings, Van!

Illuminations: Reflections of Earth is an amazing show!  Our plan is to grab some yummy snacks from one of the pavilions in World Showcase about an hour prior to showtime and stake out our spot.  Don't tell anyone, but our favorite viewing spot is in between the Norway and Mexico pavilions.  You can get a really great view from here, but definitely show up at least an hour prior to showtime.

For preferred viewing, you can book a Specialty Cruise.  We did this for our honeymoon and it was amazing.  We boarded a small pontoon boat and were driven over to the waterway between the France and UK pavilions.  The view for Illuminations was incredible!  It was definitely worth the cost for us and we look forward to doing it again.

For preferred viewing of Wishes Nighttime Spectacular, you have several options.  If you have a sweet tooth, consider the Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Desert Party.

Personally, I would consider the Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage.  It's an amazing experience and the view of Wishes is breathtaking.  It's great for even the youngest of buccaneers.  There are snacks, games, and piratey tales!  There's even a special guest waiting for you upon your return to land.

We enjoy the cruise experiences because it not only gives you an amazing view, but you are away from the crowds.

I could go on and on about these experiences, but I am out of room! Please come back with more questions!   I wish you the most magical of vacations!
