Do you think 3 people could fit into a queen bed at Disney’s All-Star Music resort? We have 5 people to a standard room and upgrading to a family suite is out of our price budget.

    Hey Ella!

Disney’s All-Star Music Resort is a fun and vibrant option with theming that celebrates various music genres like rock, jazz, and country. The resort’s larger-than-life icons and musical decor create a lively atmosphere, perfect for a family getaway. Plus, you can enjoy activities like the Calypso Pool, the Piano Pool, Movies Under the Stars, and evening campfire activities that the whole family will love.

However, when it comes to room sizes, the Standard and Preferred rooms at All-Star Music Resort are designed to accommodate up to 4 adults comfortably. You can also squeeze in a child aged 2 and under by requesting a complimentary pack 'n play. These rooms are cozy, so it’s important to consider the comfort and space of everyone in your party. Disney designs these rooms with specific occupancy in mind, so trying to fit more than what’s recommended is not recommended and technically not allowed.

Since upgrading to a family suite isn’t an option, you might want to consider staying off-site at a Walt Disney World Good Neighbor Hotel. For example, Buena Vista Suites offers spacious accommodations for larger families, along with complimentary breakfast and transportation to the Ticket and Transportation Center, where you can hop on a Disney bus to your destination.

As a family of five myself, I understand the challenge of finding a hotel room that fits everyone comfortably. Staying off-site has not only been cost-effective but has also given us the extra space we need to enjoy our vacation.

Wishing you all the best in your Disney planning!
