Hi, so I think I made two My Disney Exp. accounts under the same email. One on the website on my laptop, and the other on the app. I don’t want to delete the app one just in case it messes with the website one. What should I do?

    Hi Diana!

I'm so glad you've found your way to planDisney –– thanks for dropping by with your question.  While there are tons of cool tech features than can add an extra layer of magic to your Walt Disney World Resort vacation, I know that it can also be overwhelming (and frustrating!) when those features don't work quite the way you expect.  Let me share a few details about your My Disney Experience account, as well as a few suggestions to help you troubleshoot any issues you might be having.

First, let me reassure you that if you're using the same email and password to log in to your My Disney Experience account on both your laptop and the My Disney Experience mobile app, you're actually using the same account to sign in for both locations.  This is a good thing!  It means that everything you do on your laptop will be shared with your app and vice versa.  For instance, if you use your laptop to purchase Walt Disney World theme park admission and make your Disney Park Pass reservations, you'll be able to view those tickets and reservations under the "Future Plans" section of the app's main menu.

However, if you're using a different email and password to sign in to each location, this means that you have, in fact, created more than one My Disney Experience account.  While you won't need to delete your My Disney Experience app to fix this problem, you will need to merge those two accounts in order to access your tickets, plans, and other account features each time you log in.  Fortunately, this is an easy fix –– all you'll need to do is give the Walt Disney Website Support Line a call at (407) 939-4357 and a tech-savvy Cast Member should be able to help you combine your two accounts into one.  After that, just be sure that you're using the same Disney account to sign into both the website and your app and you should have no trouble finding all your account information in both places.

I hope this helped to answer your question, Diana, and I really appreciate you visiting planDisney.  If you need more information or think of new planning questions, please don't hesitate to stop by again –– we're always happy to help!

    Have a Magical Day,
    Amy
