Hey Howdy Hey Debra and welcome to planDisney!
I am so excited to hear that you have your reservations made for your trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth during the most Magical time of the year! Thank you so much for stopping by with your question about linking your reservation to your My Disney Experience account. I would be happy to walk you through a few steps to get your reservation linked.
Most times, when it comes to booking a vacation to Walt Disney World Resort, you should be prompted to log into your
My Disney Experience account before you check out and book your reservation. That being said, your reservation should link directly to your account which should apply to your vacation package,
Advanced Dining Reservations or reservations through the
Enchanting Extra Collection. I will say that sometimes this step takes a bit of encouragement! You might find it helpful to log completely out of your My Disney Experience account, close your internet browser and then try the process of logging in again. If this step does not work, not to worry, I've got another option to try!
The next thing you can do is log into your My Disney Experience account and try to manually link your reservation yourself. When you log into your account, your home screen should have several icons towards the top of your screen, one of which looks like a hotel you will roll your cursor over. Once you do, you should see a couple of buttons show up, look for the "Link Reservation" button and click on that. Follow the prompts to link your Walt Disney World Resort confirmation number you should have gotten in your email when booking a vacation package to plug in and link your reservation. This process is the same with ticket-only purchases as well as dining reservations by selecting the appropriate prompt under the corresponding icon.
Hopefully, this step worked and all of your reservations now show up under the "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets" section of your My Disney Experience account. As you continue to make reservations for things like dining or any reservations from the Enchanting Extra Collection, you should see them pop up here as well.
If you continue to experience any issues linking your reservations to your My Disney Experience account, this may be a job well suited for the Cast Members at Disney. You can
reach them by phone at (407) 939-4357 and they will be more than happy to help iron out any issues you may have.
As you continue to plan for your Magical Holiday getaway, make sure to keep up with all the goings on in Walt Disney World Resort over at Disney Parks Blog. Disney usually goes all out with the holiday festivities from activities and decorations in the parks, resorts and even at Disney Springs.
Disney Parks Blog will be the place to find all the "Must-Do" activities to get you a dose of holiday cheer!
Please feel free to stop back with any further questions you may have. We are always looking for a reason to talk about Disney!
Have a Magical Day,
Nick
