I would think the Luau at the Polynesian would be better after dark, however we have two young children and I worry about doing a show from 8:15-10:15pm. Is the show that much better in the dark or is it just as good at 5:15?

    Hello Druanne,

Mahalo (thank you) for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms panel with your question. I am happy to say that my family has attended Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show on several occasions and had the most wonderful time each and every time.

I do believe you will have as much fun at the earlier time as you would at the later show. The entertainment is identical for both timeframes. So, you will not miss anything by seeing it earlier. The fire dancing is simply spectacular, no matter when you see it. I have three children and understand the importance of not wanting to have a really late night. So, I recommend going to the earlier show.

Have an amazing time making wonderful memories!
