I think I know the answer, but I am sure you know for sure: Can you get a Disney Dining Plan with your room reservation if you don't buy your theme park tickets with the room reservation?

    Hello Susan!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We are honored to answer your first question, so thank you for reaching out.

It is currently not possible to add a Disney Dining Plan to a room-only reservation. If you have a reservation and would like to purchase a dining plan, you will have to upgrade to a Magic Your Way Vacation Package.

I personally think it is completely worth it! This is the best way to make your vacation extremely convenient, stress-free and all-inclusive. I just love to arrive knowing that all our meals are already taken care of. I really enjoy planning our advanced dining reservations and choosing among the several amazing dining locations throughout the Walt Disney World Resort. There are three different types of plans to suit your family’s needs and budget. I usually add the Disney Dining Plan to our Magic Your Way Vacation Package, but I would also love to try the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan soon.

Moms Panel tip: my favorite way to make dining reservations is by using the My Disney Experience mobile app. It is fast and you get to see the same available times as Cast Members taking calls from Guests contacting Disney Dining by phone.

I hope this helps you while planning, Susan. Please stop by again as you plan your visit. We are delighted to help.

    Best magical wishes,
