Do you think that having the Cruise ship decorated during the holidays takes away from the original theme of Disney? I saw some pics that sort of took away from the Disney feel that I am going for. Thank you.

    Hi Teresa!

Officially the decorations are holiday decorations, but there are a lot of Christmas specific icons, such as the Christmas tree, Santa Claus, etc.  I personally love the Christmas decorations Disney uses on both the Disney Cruise Line and at Walt Disney World.  I think Disney does a fantastic job and the characters are stunning.  However, I think the answer to your question really depends on your point of view, especially about Christmas in general.

I don't think it's over the top, but if you don't celebrate Christmas then it might be too much Christmas versus just holidays in general.  If you do celebrate Christmas, then I think you will love all of the decorations once you see them in person.

Write back if you have any more questions!
