Do you think it's a good idea to avoid parks on 4th july and enjoy resort instead?(staying at CSR). Also thought of booking Ohana that night. Can you see fireworks from there?

We have made similar plans on New Year's Eve, and we ate at 'ohanas, too! There is some seating within the restaurant that allows for viewing of the fireworks. Make sure and let the cast members know you'd prefer one of those views when you check in for dinner. Also, there are plenty of views of the fireworks from the beach area of the Polynesian resort. Disney Dad Bret shared with all of us Disney Moms a website called stitchkingdom.com Within the website is a collection of satellite views of the areas where fireworks can be seen, such as from the Polynesian Resort, Grand Floridian Resort, etc. A link is provided on the home page of this website then you'll simply need to select Fireworks as the category and Magic Kingdom as the sub-category.
