Do you think the free dining will be offered again for 2017? We are thinking of going to Disney world in December and just missed the cut off for the free dining plan.

Hiya, pal! Toddyana, welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I’m glad you’re hEAR! Most of my friends will tell you that I’m driven by my stomach, and I simply adore making a meal out of park snacks or trying a new restaurant to explore all the new dishes from the culinary department.

Historically speaking the free dining event is offered in the fall period, with dates shifting slightly. My advice, if you are looking to elect this special offer is to find a Disney authorized travel agent (like my favorites at Travelmation - I use Joy) and ask them to assist you in listening out for these specials. Most travel agents are free for you to use, and of course, you can ask the Moms Panel any questions that you need to for planning purposes.

You can book your vacation via phone up to 499 days in advance, and by doing so, you can always elect a special offer on the way and alter your package. I love planning ahead and getting just the hotel room that suits my trip. For instance, I have a vacation booked for October and can’t wait for my first stay at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, which is great for my girl's getaway weekend! I hope you have a tasty and special visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth! ~ Lindsey P.
