Which do you think is easier---booking ADRs online or over the phone? Wondering if the folks on the phone can do more than I can online. :)

    Hi Amanda,

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great question. I am glad to hear that you are excited and prepared to make your advanced dining reservations. This is always my favorite part of the planning process. Our family loves to try a new place each trip, as well as re-visit our favorites.

I have to admit, there are pros and cons to booking both ways. There are times when I prefer to book online and then circumstances when I chose to call and speak to a cast member. Here are thoughts on the matter. Booking online is quick and easy without the hassle of waiting on hold (which can happen quite frequently). However, when I have a special notation, such as a birthday celebration or specific request, I would rather call (407) WDW-DINE (939-3463) so that those requests can be noted on my reservation. Sometimes, by calling, the cast member can check multiple places or times at once if you are flexible. I have also had cast members recommend a place I might not have thought of if one of the spots I have chosen is booked up. Another tip is to do both at the same time. Sometimes, while I am on hold, I can check or book other reservations. So, the choice is ultimately yours, but I hope these scenarios, from my experience, assist you in figuring out the best plan of action for your needs.

    Happy Planning!
