It’s a small world after all, Brandi, and I’m so glad you returned to planDisney with a great follow-up question!
When I answered your previous question, I was so sad to hEAR that the 2020
Disney Performing Arts Conservatory was canceled. I’m hopeful that this amazing program will have the chance to return at some capacity in 2021, though! I checked the
Disney Youth Programs website, and found this statement about the future of the program:
Performances, workshops, programs, Disney Resort hotel bookings, and any other experiences associated with Disney Youth Programs at Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort will not be offered through December 31, 2020.
To be contacted when information regarding 2021 Disney Youth Programs experiences is available, please request information here. The statement went on to point out that even once Disney Youth Programs experiences do become available, certain parks, hotels, restaurants, attractions, and other experiences will be modified or unavailable, will have limited capacity, and will be subject to availability or closure. Park admission and offerings will also not be guaranteed. So, be sure to fill out the above form so you can stay up-to-date on the latest announcements about 2021 Disney Youth Programs!
In the meantime, I highly recommend visiting
Downtown Disney District to get your Disney fix! I’ve visited several times with my family since the reopening this summer, and was very impressed with the safety guidelines in place. Here’s a helpful
“Know Before You Go” guide to help prepare you for your visit. Be sure to stop by
Marceline’s Confectionery for some yummy Churro Toffee! Just plan to arrive by midday, since this fan favorite tends to sell out quickly!
I hope we hear some good news soon regarding next year’s Disney Performing Arts Conservatory, Brandi! Please stop by with any additional questions you may have… we’re all EARs!
Wishing you Disney magic,
Kristin
