What did you all think of Coronado Springs for a family of four kids 6 and 8?Any suggestions of requests for rooms? Thanks

    Hi Denise,

    Disney's Coronado Springs Resort
is a lovely moderate resort at Walt Disney World.  If your kids like water slides, then this is an excellent choice for your family.  I stayed with my nephew at this resort during his first ever trip to Walt Disney World and we loved the Dig Site pool and slide.  I was a big fan of the tasty treats in the Pepper Market food court too.

Because this is an expansive resort, I think it makes sense to request a room near El Centro, where most of the resort's amenities (gift shop, guest services desk, food court, etc.) are found.  I highly recommend a room in either Casitas building one or Cabanas building nine, as these are closest to El Centro.

If your kids prefer a tamer (but still fun) water slide, take a look at Disney's Port Orleans - French Quarter.  This is the smallest of Disney's moderate resorts so nearly every room is close to French Quarter Square.  Also, there's only one bus stop at this resort.  I find that simplifies transportation to and from the parks.

If you need any additional advice as you are choosing between resorts, just let us know!

    Best wishes,
    Jill
