1st, I think this is so cool & u have the greatest job! 2nd, where do u suggest 2 stay 4 race weekend w/ all the closed roads, etc. We try to avoid any disney resort since we are coming back from a Disney cruise and don't want to spend more + we are 8

    Hi Veronica!

Thanks!  This is a very cool job to have:)

Really, any hotel that works for your family that is close to Disney will be fine.  The key to driving yourself to the race is to leave really, really, (I mean REALLY) early!  You should be driving to the race no later than 3 a.m. to avoid huge traffic back-ups.

I once stayed at the Orlando World Center Marriott and it was very close to Disney property.  A friend of mine generally stays at the Wyndham Bonnet Creek Resort (it is actually on Disney property), and it's also very nice.

You may also consider the Disney Value Resorts.  They are very economical, even with multiple rooms for large groups.  Depending on which race you are doing, you would want to choose one that is a host resort for that weekend.  The host resorts have buses running to and from all race events.  That is a huge benefit to staying on property.

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions.
