I was think about going Christmas week and be there for Christmas. What is it like and any tips

    Hi there, Sonya!

The most wonderful time of the year at Walt Disney World in my opinion is Christmas. My family goes every year to enjoy the magic of the holidays, so we've come up with a great list of tips that help us see and do as much as we can during this very busy season.

You'll find the parks are very busy, but I can't help but feel that the holidays add a festive feeling despite the crowds. If you're prepared for the crowds, you'll be a step ahead of the game.

Once you decide to go and you book your room, be ready to book your FastPass+ choices as soon as your window opens. If you are staying at a Walt Disney World resort, you can book 60 days in advance. Other guests can book beginning 30 days prior to your vacation. I recommend arriving at the parks as soon as they open, and booking your FastPass+ selections for after lunch or in the evening. Another tactic for resort guests is to book them later in the day, planning to stay in the park that offers Extra Magic Hours.

Next, make your dining reservations right this very minute now! I'm just kidding (sort of), but you will want to plan any table service meals as soon as you can - especially if you want a table for Christmas Eve or Christmas day.

Save some time to do a little resort hopping. The trees are amazing, and you'll even see a life sized gingerbread house and other incredible decorations. Just fantastic.

Plan ahead, be prepared, and feel the Christmas magic!
