    do we think the character meet will ever go back to old style where you hug them

    Hi Kris!

    You have asked a great question because Character Experiences are one of my favorite things to enjoy with my little ones! It's so exciting when my boys can meet the Characters that they love so much from their favorite Disney movies and shows.

    Character Experiences at Walt Disney World Resort have been modified since the beginning of the resort's phased reopening. I'm thrilled to be able to tell you that the Disney Parks Blog announced TODAY that Character Experiences will be returning to their traditional greeting format beginning on April 18, which means hugs and autographs are back! Keep in mind that this return will occur in phases, which means that over the next several weeks and months these traditional Character Experiences will become available for Guests.

    Kris, this is a really exciting time for Guests visiting Walt Disney World Resort because the "Most Magical Place on Earth" is feeling more and more like "home." Have you seen that this summer the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue is returning and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind will be debuting at EPCOT? I recommend that you keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for announcements about new and returning experiences you will be able to enjoy during your vacation.
