do you think that a certain park may be MORE crowded on days when EMH are offered there? should we plan our days avoiding the park that has the extra hour? or is it worth taking advantage of it? thanks so much :)

Hi Stacy!  I definitely enjoy using the Extra Magic Hours when visiting the parks.  It is a great time to ride some of the more popular attractions without spending time in long lines.

This is where the Park Hopper option is valuable. It is known that it is best to avoid the parks during the day that have the Extra Magic Hours or for Hollywood Studios when Fantasmic is showing.  If you can get to a park that has the early morning hour and enjoy that and then "hop" over to another park for the rest of the day it might be in your best interest for crowds.  My family never gets up in time to use the morning hour but we certainly use the extra hours in the evenings at the parks.  You can enjoy one park all day and then head to the other park for the extra time at night.
