I think my boys are going to really enjoy Rafiki's Planet Watch. They will be 7 and almost (one month shy of) 5 when we go. How much time should we allow in our itenerary for this experience?

    Hi Janice!

My son and I really like Rafiki's Plant Watch at Conservation Station in the Animal Kingdom!  There is so much to do there including character meets, a petting zoo, animal exhibits, animal experiences, and learning activities.  People often overlook this attraction in Animal Kingdom because you have to take a train to get there.  Also often in the mornings, the Animal Kingdom veterinarians actually do check ups and surgeries on animals and you can watch all of this through viewing windows!  I would recommend at least 1 to 2 hours and maybe more to explore Rafiki's Planet Watch.  If your children seem to be showing signs that they are done with this experience, then you can hop back on the train and explore the rest of Animal Kingdom.  Don't forget to check out The Boneyard in Dinoland as well.

I hope that you and your boys have a wild time in Animal Kingdom on your next vacation in Walt Disney World!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
