I think I've booked the Fantasmic Dinner Package by making dining reservations at the Mama Melrose's. However, it only appears as a dinner reservation in my itinerary; there is no mention of Fantasmic. Have I booked correctly, I wonder? Thanks!

    Melanie:

There are a limited number of Fantasmic Dinner Packages at each of the three Hollywood Studios restaurants that offer it, so unfortunately, just because you have a dining reservation at Mama Melrose's doesn't mean you have booked the dining package which includes the VIP seating for Fantasmic!.

To confirm, look at the confirmation email that you received after you booked your reservation online. Under RESERVATION DETAIL it will say "Mama Melrose Lunch Fantasmic" or "Mama Melrose Dinner Fantasmic" under the number of guests in your party and the date. Otherwise, it will only list the restaurant's name.

If you find that it is only a dinner reservation and there are no longer any dinner packages for that day, keep in mind that there will more likely be cancellations you can grab from other diners at the 45-, 6-, and 5-day out mark from the date you want as well as 72- to 48-hours out. These are times I have found best to get last-minute dining reservations as guests cancel before their credit cards can be charged for their vacation package, room reservation or dining.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
