what do you think is the best way to celebrate a 1year baby girl at disney??

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Renata ~

Celebrating a 1st birthday at Disney World is a wonderful idea!

I celebrated my boys' 1st birthdays by getting their first haircuts at the Harmony Barber Shop on Main Street U.S.A. in the Magic Kingdom. If she hasn't had her first haircut yet, I'd highly recommend it. They do an amazing job with little ones. They put little stickers on their shirts so they were way more interested in them than what was going on with their hair. They also had little light up toys and bubbles that fascinated them and held their attention. Once they were finished with their haircuts, we took pictures with a big cape with a Mickey on it and the stylist holding big red plastic scissors. They got "My 1st Haircut Ears" and a certificate. It was a great experience and one I'll never forget.

Walk-ins are welcome at the Harmony Barber Shop but if you are visiting during a peak season or want to try to plan it around dining reservations or naptime, I'd recommend making a reservation by calling 407-WDW-PLAY.

A character meal is another great way to celebrate. Chef Mickey's and the Crystal Palace are awesome choices. They will even bring out a cupcake and sing to your little Princess.

Book a family Portrait Session with Disney a Photographer. The Disney Photographers do an amazing job of capturing memories in some very unique settings and you only celebrate a 1st birthday once.

Start a tradition and have her picture taken with Mickey. Its great to watch kids grow up visiting Mickey through the years.

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
