What are some of the things that we will have to purchase that are not included in the initial package cost? For example, services offered with character experiences. Just an estimated figure of how much to bring for a 7 year old and 2 adults.

    Ahoy, Laci!

A Disney Cruise Line vacation is amazing for many reasons, but one of the best reasons is because of all that's included in the initial cost! Here's just a few of the many features that are included in the cost of a Disney Cruise:

Dining - Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Snacks, 24-hour Room Service, Soft Drinks - even an all-you-care-to-enjoy soft-serve ice cream station - they're included! With so many different dining options, you'll never go hungry on a Disney ship.

Entertainment - My daughters love the Broadway-style stage shows. My husband enjoys the variety/comedy acts. I love Pirate Night, and the fun deck parties. The whole family enjoys seeing first-run movies onboard. There's something for everyone when it comes to entertainment offerings!

Staterooms - Roomy, comfortable staterooms built with families in mind.

Youth Clubs -  Children ages 3-17 can spend as much time as they like in the onboard Youth Clubs, with highly-trained Youth Counselors on hand to keep them engaged and entertained.

Character Interactions - Guests will have plenty of opportunities to meet their favorite Disney Friends throughout their sailing - simply check your daily schedule for times and locations!

While most everything you'll need is included in the cost, there are a few things you may want to budget a little extra for: Adult Dining at Palo or Remy, alcoholic beverages/specialty drinks, spa treatments, shopping, gratuities, Port Adventures, and makeovers at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. Depending on the length of your cruise, you'll want to budget accordingly for any of these extras.

I hope this helps with your planning. Have a magical day! - Diane W.
