What things other than what is listed n the website (parade, trick or treat, fireworks,) are MUST see and dos at Not so scary halloween??

    Hi Laura,

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP) is one of my all time favorite events at the Magic Kingdom!  Must see and dos other than what is listed on the website??  Okay -

MUST DO - get in the spirit & go in costume no matter how young or old you are. Its so much fun! You'll be amazed at how elaborate some of the costumes are that Guests come up with. Last year I saw a lady in an ECV that looked like a boat from the Jungle Cruise & she was dressed as a Jungle Boat Captain - it was GREAT! This is certainly a people watching event.

MUST DO - be sure to get a special MNSSHP PhotoPass and use it. You may find some surprises when you view your photos online. The Haunted Mansion PhotoPass location is a MUST DO.

MUST DO - character hunt - they usually have some characters come out that only appear during special events. Last year we had our picture taken with all 7 dwarfs together. You'll also see characters dressed up in their favorite Halloween costumes - loved this!

MUST DO - Character Dance Parties. This is a great way to interact with the characters. There were two last year - Stitch's Club 626 in Tomorrowland and Woody's Harvest Roundup at the Diamond Horseshoe in Liberty Square.

MUST DO - take the time to look around at all the awesome Halloween decorations. Disney always takes care of all the details. Last year they had Cinderella's carriage with the lights on in Fantasyland - that was cool!

MUST DO - take advantage of the shorter lines & wait times at attractions.

We usually concentrate on doing all the special things that are only offered during MNSSHP instead of trying to do all of the attractions that are available at other times.  Let me know if you need more details.

Wishing you many spooktacular memories :-) Allison
