What are the must do things at Hollywood Studios for little ones? Our 2 and 4 year old have been to Disney twice before but we will be visiting HS for the first time with them this trip. We have a lunch ADR at H&V. Any ideas for planning our day there?

    Hi Mary Margaret!

I think you're going to have an awesome time with your family at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

My 3-year-old daughter is a huge fan of the shows on Disney Junior, so one of her absolute favorite things to do in all of Walt Disney World is the "Disney Junior - Live on Stage!" interactive show located in the Animation Courtyard. Guests can dance and sing along with some of their favorite characters from the Disney Junior shows as they tell a series of stories.

If your children like to get autographs from the characters, there are plenty of meet-and-greet opportunities scattered throughout Disney's Hollywood Studios during the day. Since you have a lunch reservation at Hollywood & Vine, you'll have the chance for some quality one-on-one time with the characters in there as well.

Speaking of food, your family will probably need to take a snack break at some point in time. Two of my favorite snack spots are Hollywood Scoops, a nifty little ice cream stand near The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, and the Starring Rolls Cafe, a quant bakery that's tucked next to The Hollywood Brown Derby. (If you ever spot me at the Starring Rolls Cafe, it's a lock that I'll have a Butterfinger cupcake in my hand!)

There are some amazing attractions and shows at Disney's Hollywood Studios, but you may find that your children need to unleash some of their energy if they've been sitting or waiting patiently in line for a little while. If that's the case, I'd head over to the "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids Movie Set Adventure" play area. My daughter could spend hours in there!

I hope that helps! If you'd like to bounce more ideas off of me or brainstorm other plans, feel free to stop back by the Disney Parks Moms Panel and send me your questions!!
