Hi Keosha,
Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm guessing from your question that you're looking for fun things to do at Walt Disney World
outside of the theme parks. What I love about visits to
Walt Disney World is that there is magic to enjoy all around.
One of my favorite must-do non-park excursions is a trip to
Disney Springs. I love spending a day checking out the all unique shops located throughout Disney Springs and especially around the Town Center. It's also so much fun to take in all the entertainment you can discover around Disney Springs, whether it's a stage show or concert at Marketplace Stage, live entertainment near The Landing, or live music near Raglan Road Patio Stage. There's also high-style bowling at Splitsville Luxury Lanes and a fantastic movie house at AMC Movies. And then there's the food! There are so many dining choices — from delicious light bites and sweets and snacks to amazing food adventures — it's hard not to find something to savor.
Another fun venture outside the theme parks is to take a stroll along
Disney's BoardWalk. The live entertainment is fun to stop and watch, and the shops and food offerings are well worth a visit.
I also really enjoy riding the Resort Monorail and I often describe it as an attraction in and of itself. I can easily spend a day exploring the shops and restaurants and taking in the vibes and views at the Magic Kingdom Resorts along the Monorail — Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and Disney's Polynesian Village Resort.
Enjoy your Disney!
Jerry
