Things allowed into the park? Food ? Drinks ? Wagons?

Hey there! Hi there, Eva! It looks like you are headed to the Most Magical Place on Earth right as I am leaving it. I like your countdown better. Packing to come here is more fun than packing to go home.

I am thrilled you stopped by planDisney with this question as you mark off the final items on your packing list. One of the many things I have always appreciated about Walt Disney World is its leniency regarding bringing food and drinks into the parks.

You are allowed to bring food and drinks with you, with a few exceptions. Bags or coolers must be no larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high. You can bring ice packs, but loose ice isn't allowed. And glass jars (except for baby food) and alcohol are also prohibited.

Stashing a few snacks -- or even lunch --  in your backpack can help stretch your vacation dollars. I like to bring "fun-size" packs of chocolates for when my kids need a quick treat to pass the time in lines.

We always carry water bottles to stay hydrated throughout the day. There are refill stations in the parks, and you can use the My Disney Experience app on your phone to help you find them. Just select the magnifying lens at the bottom of the screen and search "Water Bottle Refill Stations." You can also ask for ice water at quick-serve restaurants.

The list of property rules is practically perfect for ensuring that everything you plan to pack is allowed. Here, you can also find information on strollers, which must be no larger than 31" wide x 52" long. Stroller wagons are prohibited, except for approved medical necessity.

I took my nephew to the Magic Kingdom last month and used one of my favorite tricks from when my kids were toddlers: I tied a bright ribbon to the handle of our stroller. It helped me pick it out quickly from a sea of strollers that all look the same.

Eva, I hope you have a magical trip! As I am packing our suitcases to head home, I keep reminding myself not to be sad that it is over, but joyful that I had something so magical that I will remember it forever.

    See 'Ya Real Soon!
