I was there in 2012 and want the same thing this time. With air fair and the Disney bus from the airport. How do I do it?

We're taking a trip down memory lane, David! I'd like to welcome you to planDisney and help you with your question about airfare and transportation to Walt Disney World Resort. A few things have changed since your visit in 2012, so let's get you up to speed on what you can do to prepare for your upcoming vacation!

I remember the days where you could book your airfare and Disney's Magical Express motorcoach to your resort from the airport on the Disney World website, too! It was a simpler time. Those sweet halcyon days are behind us, unfortunately, and guests must book their airfare and transportation to their Disney Resort hotel elsewhere.

My recommendation is to use a flight aggregator tool to compare pricing, airlines, and schedules for flights. There are also quite a few popular and well-reviewed methods to travel from the airport to Disney World property, one of which is a Minnie Van. You can select this option if you're staying at a Deluxe Resort, Deluxe Villa Resort, or a Club Level room. This is a great choice if you're seeking to start the magic right away, and you can book up to 60 days in advance! I typically take a ride share or shuttle from the airport to get to my Disney Resort hotel, and you can review the pricing and availability of these options by performing a search online.

I hope this helps you plan for flights and ground transportation from the airport, David! You've picked a phenomenal time to visit Disney World, as October provides the perfect mix of autumnal vibes and spooky season scares. Seeing the oranges, yellows, and reds in decorations across the theme parks and resorts fills me with that fall feeling, then I don my costume to attend the frightfully fun festivities at Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Here's to an itinerary that's spooky, serene, or both! Have a fabulous vacation, and be sure to visit us again here at planDisney.

    Stay magical,
    Scott
