Hi there, With each of our recent trips to Walt Disney World, we have received new MagicBands. I understand we are able to re-use them on upcoming trips. Is one person able to have more than one MagicBand active at one time? Thanks for your help!

    Hi Monica,

Absolutely! As far as I know, there's no limit on the number of active MagicBands you can have at once. I currently have seven active MagicBands -- one in each color -- with two more in the pipeline for trips later this year.

The batteries are designed to last about two years, so if you have a favorite, you can keep using it as long as the battery holds out. Or, if you have more than one, you can alternate them based on color. I usually bring a spare with me on each trip so that I'm prepared in case I misplace one.

If you'd rather not have so many active MagicBands, you can deactivate old ones by signing into your My Disney Experience account and going to the MagicBands & Cards section. If you click on a specific MagicBand, you will see a box to check to make it inactive.

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. Please let us know if we can do anything else to help as you plan your next Walt Disney World vacation. Enjoy!
