Most restaurants will allow you to downgrade (table service to quick service), but not upgrade (quick service to table service). So yes, although they like to match table service meals to table service restaurants, most will allow you to use your table service credit as quick service instead. I'd just inform someone at the restaurant what you plan to do just to be on the safe side. The majority don't have a problem doing this.
