Welcome to planDisney, Kristen!
How exciting that you'll be visiting
The Happiest Place on Earth during the most wonderful time of the year. Oh, how I love walking down a fully decked-out Main Street, U.S.A. with Christmas music playing in my ears and delicious-smelling
festive treats wafting up my nose. I'm very jealous! I'm sure you're going to have a magical time, Kristen.
But "let's get down to business." The
Disneyland Resort Rules currently state that a child must be at least 14 years old to enter Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park without an adult. Guests under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a Guest age 14 or older to enter either theme park. It's worth mentioning that children under the age of 7 must be accompanied by a Guest 14 years or older to board an attraction. Children under the age of 3 are considered "Guests of Mickey" and do not require a theme park ticket. At this time, Disney doesn't require children to carry ID in order to enter the parks. Guests are expected to adhere to these rules using an honor system.
I hope that's helpful, Kristen. I'm not sure how old your kids are, but the
Haunted Mansion Holiday overlay is such a wonderful and unique experience. There's also a ton of Christmas-themed fun to enjoy, like
A Christmas Fantasy Parade,
"it's a small world" Holiday Lighting, the
"Believe... In Holiday Magic" fireworks spectacular, and of course the
Wintertime Enchantment at Sleeping Beauty's Winter Castle. Get ready to be in awe!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney, Kristen. See ya real soon!
