Hello there, We are visiting WDW for our first ever trip with 2 boys, 5 and 3 and super excited. I have a lunch ressie at tusker house at 5:25pm. Will the characters be around? At Sanaa, is lunch or dinner better for seeing the animals while dining?

Hi Hesh!

I hope you enjoy dinner at Tusker House Restaurant in Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park! Tusker House is one of our absolute favorite places to dine at Disney's Animal Kingdom! Currently, Character Dining is only available at Breakfast and Lunch.

The Dinner Buffet is great, and offers a great variety of delicious options. We always have a great experience dining at Tusker House.

For Sanaa...another fantastic choice...I would suggest that a reservation just before sunset would probably have the best opportunity for seeing animal activity. Depending on the weather, especially if it is cooler out, it shouldn't make a huge difference. For those warmer days, you'll notice less animal activity during the heat of the day. Do make sure you check out the animal observation areas outside of the resort. My kids love to check out the animals before our dinner!
