Hi there! we are visiting in April 2015 for the first time. We will be there over Easter weekend and I wondered if anything special happens at Easter in Disneyworld? Are there any Easter related events on? Does the Easter bunny come?

    Hi Claire,

How absolutely amazing is it that you will be visiting Walt Disney World during Easter? While each and every day is magical at Walt Disney World, holidays seem to receive just a little extra pixie dust. Easter is no exception!

After doing some research for you, I found out that there are quite a few experiences offered to guests this past Easter Sunday. Some Walt Disney World Resort hotels featured Disney characters in special Easter costumes, Easter egg hunts and Easter crafts for little princes and princesses.

Magic Kingdom Park offered a meet-and-greet with the Easter Bunny while Epcot hosted a big Easter Egg Hunt within World Showcase. For 4.95, a map and stickers were provided to guests, and once they completed the map, they were encouraged to return it to Disney Traders for a special prize. How fun!

I hope this helps with your vacation planning, Claire. If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask us at any time.

    Have a fantastical Disney day!
