Hi there! We registered for WDW Marathon 2014. Staying at the Sheraton Vistana. Have rented car but wondering if should drive and try to park or have cab service drop us off? Know we need to be there around 3am. Which gets us closer, car/cab, to start?

    Hi Kimberly!

The Walt Disney World Marathon is such a great race!  I am getting really excited for it:)

You are smart to plan to leave so early.  The traffic really does pick up after 3:30 a.m.

It won't be a big difference with the cab or car.  The cab will probably get you a little closer to the starting area than having to park, but it really depends on how full the parking lot is by the time you get there.

If you think you would rather be dropped off, then go for the cab!  Just be sure the cab driver is aware of the road closures.  You will find the road closure information in the final race instructions book.  They will be available at the expo, and you can also find them on the Walt Disney World Marathon website under the tab "RUNNER INFO".

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions.
