Hi there..We are planning on taking our Children on April 9th to 23rd..We were just wondering if the weather was good then normally? Thanks

    Hi Lorraine,

April is a nice time of year to go to Walt Disney World.  In April, Florida is not nearly as hot as it can be in the middle of summer.  You can expect average high temperatures in the low to mid 80s Fahrenheit.  You'll likely be comfortable in shorts and short-sleeved tops during the day.  For the evenings, especially those late nights watching fireworks, I always toss a light jacket for each member of the family in my bag.  Low temperatures at night in April average around 60 degrees Fahrenheit, so you may get chilly once the sun goes down.

While it can rain at any time in Florida, April tends not to be one of the rainier months.  However, I always expect the unexpected with Florida weather.  Therefore, I would recommend bringing rain gear and warmer clothes just in case the weather is significantly different than the averages for your trip.  It's always a good idea to go to a weather website such as www.weather.com to check the forecast for Orlando shortly before your trip.

Have a wonderful vacation, and please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions!
