    Hi there..we are planning a family vacation in fall of 2012 and I was just wondering if there is any word yet about free dining...we would like to plan it around those dates if we could as there will be anywhere from 8 - 15 of us. Thank you

    Hi Ann,

    Autumn is a great time to travel to Walt Disney World!  The weather is milder, the Food & Wine Festival is in full swing at Epcot, and it is traditionally a time when the odds are good for getting a free dining promotion.  At least that has been the case the past few years.  Disney recently released a new free dining promotion that starts in early October 2011 and extends through the end of March 2012.  My hope is that something similar will be offered for the fall of 2012 but it does not appear that any special promotions have been offered yet that cover that time period.  Rarely are promotions extended that far in advance.  Just keep your eye on the Walt Disney World special offers page and keep your fingers crossed.
