Hi there, We are going to Disneyworld in March for the first time with my three children (6, 6 &9). We are a huge Star Wars loving family! Is there any Star Wars character dining options? Thanks

Hi Laura, welcome back. May the force be with you!
I am happy to tell you that your family will be able to enjoy some great new Star Wars experiences, which have just been launched at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. By now, I don’t remember seeing any official announcement about dining experiences with Star Wars characters. During Star Wars Weekends, which used to be held in May and June, there were special character dining experiences, but nothing has been announced yet for 2016. I suggest you keep checking at the Disney Parks Blog for updates.
But don’t feel sad, there is a lot your family can do to bring you closer to this epic saga. Star Wars Launch Bay, located in Animation Courtyard, offers guests the chance to interact with Star Wars characters Darth Vader and Chewbacca. You can explore special exhibits and get an up-close look at replica props, models, costumes and artifacts from the Star Wars films. If you are a Star Wars fan who likes to shop, Launch Bay Cargo, will offer a wide selection of Star Wars merchandise.
The very popular attraction Star Tours -The Adventures Continue now presents new characters and adventures from Star Wars: The Force Awakens. I highly recommend registering your kids to the Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple, to learn how to use the Force and to wield lightsabers. They will have a blast! Registration begins when Disney’s Hollywood Studios opens for the day.
The fun doesn’t end there! You can relive the adventure of the Star Wars saga by watching a 10-minute retelling of it at Star Wars: Path of The Jedi; try some New Star Wars-inspired items which have been added to menus at Food & Beverage locations throughout the park; and watch “Symphony In The Stars: A Galactic Spectacular” a fireworks spectacle presented on select nights.
I am sure your family will have an unforgettable time. Let us know if you have further questions.
    Have a pixie-dusted day!
